Publish a Book! The Simple Ways to Get it Done!

Publish a book! It seems near impossible to get your book published after its written! It doesn't have to be. There are many ways to get your fiction book published without costing you an arm and a leg as well as most of your profits once it's published.

There are several routes you can take in order to get your book published. Knowing that they are out there is half of the battle. Getting your book to that point is the other half.

When you are first starting out as a writer looking to publish a book, you may be limited in funds for your writing budget. You can learn how to publish a book for pure profit and use the money you earn to pursue other publishing and marketing routes. This will help you get started and get your name and your book out in front of the world fast.

Maybe you write short stories or small works of fiction and want to publish your book in an electronic format. A lot of writers just starting out have successfully published eBooks and made a lot of money from them just as eBooks. You too can learn how to successfully publish books in electronic format.

Maybe you already have some money ready to poor into your writing budget or your book has proven successful with a previous publishing, so you may want to find fiction book publishers in order to get a big name publishing label on your book. This is where it gets a little more complicated and touchy when it comes to the publishing process, but the more you learn about the processes involved when you publish your book, the more confident you will become.

My personal take on how to publish your book is to learn how to self-publish your fiction. Self-publishing is the way to go if you want to maximize your earnings and minimize your expenses up front. I feel this way because I refuse to pay someone else thousands of dollars plus eighty to ninety percent of my royalties for the life of my publication in the hopes that I will even make a profit from it. Self-publishing is stress free, a lot more fun than waiting on acceptance, your work is never rejected, and you can definitely afford to publish your book since there are self-publishing companies out there that offer this service for no upfront costs.

If you are visiting my site, you probably already discovered how expensive it really is to publish a book, even if you choose a publisher that uses partner companies for print-on-demand and distribution services. So, publish a book with a smaller publishing company with print on demand partners. Though it is much less expensive than publishing through a traditional publisher, in most cases they still require you to pay a fee to use their services, purchase so many copies of your book, convince you to get the most expensive package to possibly maximize marketability of your book, and charge you even more for extra work such as editing and cover art. Then they turn around and take a portion of your proceeds, which sometimes can be as high as 70 percent, and give you a measly 30 percent for all of your creativity and hard work. This method of how to publish your book is for less motivated people or people who have no time to devote to self-publishing their own fiction.

This should be enough to help you choose which route to take in order to publish a fiction book. Check out all of them before making your decision. None of them are the wrong answer when looking to publish your book. They are all options you have in order to get your book published.
