I've compiled several great sites that allow fiction authors to post excerpts of their stories to receive the best unbiased reviews. Whether you like to read and analyze other writer's work, or you need reviews of your own writing, any of these valuable sites can help you out considerably.
My most recommended book review website that seems to have it all is called TheNextBigWriter. TheNextBigWriter.com is an online writer's workshop designed to help you as an author. You will have to read and review other writers on the site to build up the credits to post your work. You will also receive feedback on your chapters from other writers and readers as others are building up credits.  You can post your first chapter without having to do a review. Please visit this extensive site for writers just like yourself!
Another great book review site, Goodreads is another place to get your writing noticed and reviewed. It was recommended to me by a good friend here at Write and Publish Fiction. It is an author and reader community set up just like some of the other communities out there (MySpace, Facebook) but is all about book sharing reviews and comments about books. You can post your reviews of any book you've read or are reading, or even your own books if you want. You can also sign up as an author and post your information as well. Please check out Goodreads.com today and get to reviewing. Goodreads is a great tool for both readers and writers to get the most from their reviews. Tell all of your friends which books you recommend or which ones you don't. You can also invite all of your friends to join as well to see what books they are reading.
